Launch Week Team Rankings

Team tiers evaluate full compositions—Cookies, pets, chemistry tags, and mode context. Since the July 30, 2026 launch, live testing confirms the classic Vanguard-Defender-Shooter core outperforms mono-class stacks for general progression.

Mode-specific comps differ: survivor idle maps favor area Shooters, Crumble Dungeon favors burst boss damage, Implant Tower favors Defender-heavy survival, and Arena favors fast-resolution counter-picks.

S-Tier — Classic V-D-S Core

Dark Cherry (Vanguard) + Berry Yogurt (Defender) + Grapevine (Shooter) remains the S-tier launch template. Add Cream Soda Cookie from the 7-day login event as a fourth slot when available. Chemistry tags from Party Chemistry Lab training transfer directly to live team builder UI.

Scale toward twelve Cookies by adding synergy-compatible units—not duplicate roles without chemistry justification.

A-Tier — Mode Specialists

Burst Vanguard stacks with GingerCraven debuffs rank A-tier for Crumble Dungeon Golden God-Drop scores but underperform on long idle survivor maps.

Defender-double compositions rank A-tier for Implant Tower mid-floors before Shooters need enhancement investment to meet DPS checks.

B-Tier — Launch Experiments

Triple Shooter glass-cannon comps clear early story fast but collapse on boss phases and Arena tempo. Viable for speed-running tutorial chapters only.
